Paty will be discussing challenges students may face in the classroom due to their neurodivergence. She will address the obstacles experienced by children in their learning environment and provide guidance for parents on how to ensure they have the necessary tools to advocate for their child's needs at school.  Additional topics to be covered include:
 - Effective communication with your child's teacher/school to address any concerns regarding inadequate support for their specific needs.

- Social communication manifestations that may affect a child's behaviour, such as difficulties with social understanding, attention and listening skills, literal language, metaphors, sarcasm, as well as non-verbal communication.

- The impact of these social communication difficulties on students with ADHD in the school setting, including their relationships with peers and how schools can enhance support for pupils facing these challenges.
