About this Event
It’s not uncommon for children and young people with ADHD to experience differences in emotional regulation. Emotional regulation refers to our ability to monitor and modulate our emotions. ADHD is often associated with difficulties in managing, regulating and controlling emotional responses, and the term emotional dysregulation is sometimes used. Differences in emotional regulation can affect a child's well-being, how ADHD presents, and mental health. This webinar will support us by providing information on the mental health needs of children with ADHD, signs of mental health difficulties and how to help our children with ADHD develop strategies and skills to support their emotional well-being.
